question regarding exhaust

my question is if i run a turbo back exhaust, preferably one that keeps the cat, will my truck pour black smoke? i ask because i really only want some tone and more turbo whistle, i dont want anymore smoke then the truck makes normally. Also with a turbo back exhaust do i need a tune? thanks alot for looking guys

no it wont pour smoke, maybe a little bit more if it already smokes. when i have my stock tune on with a turbo back exhaust and no cat it wont smoke at all. no you dont need a tune with an exhaust. but it makes it alot more fun!

today i had 4" installed from the turbo back with no muf, cat or tune. the whistle is great. no extra smoke just a little extra noise, nothing to complain about. noticed more power right away and under full throttle almost sounds like i have a glass pack installed. looking forward to getting a tune.
