EGR kits?

I know this topic is all over, I did a search and couldnt find my answer so here we go! I have a 2005 model, do all delete kits cause a light on the dash to come on? I am planning to do something on this topic but not sure which way to go. I plan on getting a programmer just not everything at the same time of course! What your opinion?

I believe they all will make the light come on with the full delete, but once you get your programer it should go away. I know SCT does.

typically, any EGR modification on a 05^ style truck will result in a CEL. the SCT is the only way to disable the CEL.
