sct x3 unlocks?

ok so i got a x3 and what does it mean by 4 unlocks left i can only use it on my truck 4 times?

it means that it can be locked and then unlocked on 4 different vehicles

I believe if you move if from your truck to a friends then back it will count as 2

But if you did that you would have to put your truck back to stock, then move it to a friends truck. Then if you wanted it back to your truck, you would have to return his truck back to stock, then you could use it on yours again.
