Which Programmer

Wanted your help. Just sold my Edge Platinum programmer. I have about $400-$450 to spend on a new programmer. Which one would your recommend. My thoughts are for a SCT X3 or SF3. I only will use a mileage, tow (16k 5th wheel), and SLIGHT performance tune. I am not looking to pull wheelies or serious HP

Ok first off I wasn't trying being rude, secondly why don't you learn how to use the search button. This would have saved you and me along with other memeber's time from reading your drivel when there is literally gobs of information on this forum concerning this subject.

I feel the sct with custom tunes is the best tuner for the 6.0 just my .02

The x3 can have 3 custom tunes loaded on it

The sf3 has 3 canned tunes and you can load 3 custom tunes.

the nice thing about custom tunes is you can have the tune written to your mods. and you will have the ability to adjust shift point pressures. read and clear DTCs, ect...

most other tuners are not transmission friendly

i'd just get an xcal2, does the same as the xcal and you can get it cheaper.

i got my xcal 2 and innovative extreme street for right at $200. that will leave you $250 to get your EGT gauge and trans temp gauge and pod.

Thanks for the post. I agree, the SCT fills a lot of individual needs. I'm leaning towards the SF3. Gives you the option for 6 total tunes (3 canned, 3 custom). Unless others think differently???
