Propane injection

Has anybody tried a propane injection kit on a 6.0? I'm looking for something that won't give me headgasket problems or a code to erase before a trip to the dealer. Kinda leaning towards a Powershot 2000. Any opinions or advice would be great.

This has my attention too. I didn't realize I could do this without a permanent mod to my rig until I read about this thing. I was also under the impression that this was actually GOOD for the motor.....of course I think I read that awhile back on a site selling a similar system so it could have been a bit bias.

I have the Powershot 2000 on my 7.3. Didn't research if its the same deal for the 6.0, but it is a nice system. It added quite a bit of power. My truck did seem to get "tired" after awhile of running it. Not sure if it was just from the 160000 miles or the pain running through it. Also for the tank you can probably get an old forklift tank for around 50 bucks that would work great.

your not going to increace cumbustions pressures all that much and it also wont increase the size of the air charge.....so i dont see why it would cause any damage to the headgaskets........unfortuanetly someone has to be the guinne pig to find out if thats true

I've read in a lot of places that propane lowers egt and provides a horsepower increase at the same time.......then i've also seen that it increases egts......so what's the real deal?

honestly i havnt seen that many trucks with it....but in theory it should increase the amount of fuel burnt in the combustion chamber therefore decreacing EGT's since no fuel will be burning in the exhaust......
