Depends on your goals. There are two intake manifold type egr deletes. About a dozen cooler deletes, 15 write ups of cheap deletes, welding up the egr cooler is a option. Reguardless while you are there I would strongly suggest taking the heads off checking them installing studs, a new oil cooler (just the rebuild kit) and new gaskets on the reinstall of all the parts. What is your price range? Will you have to pass any smog inspections? Everyone just about offers a sct tuning device that sells a egr delete and I bet if they do not have a package they will likely put one together for you.

I don't have to worry about emissions where I live. And I can spend around $5,000 to $6,000?

Delete the entire EGR system and cooler and get studs put in.

Ask around on here and they will tell you the best way to delete the EGR.

Doing this makes the 6ohs great motors.

I use the truck as a daily driver, I also haul a 30' camper, and 30" car hauler loaded with motorcycles.

I'd like to be able to smoke my grandpal-in-laws 2006 Dodge 2500 it has a supertuner, banks 5" dual exhaust, banks intercooler, banks intake elbow, and that's it...

If you tow a lot, I would reccomend you stay with stock to 155cc injectors with a stock turbo to II stage 1 VGT or the new Garret upgraded VGT turbo. Also, like everyone else said, studs, egr delete, oil cooler rebuild, and if you don't have it already, 4" exhaust

With just a custom tuned SCT and an exhaust, you should be able to smoke your grandpa-in-law.
