Which Exhaust
Hi, I have an '05 F250 and Im looking to put exhaust on her. I can't decide on either the MBRP 4" single or Magnaflow 4". Is there a differance between exhaust or is just the name that raises the prices? Thanks for any info

keep stock downpipe as the 4" rubs on things, get a downpipe back ehxaust... any brand is fine its mostly names and material that is different. its all up to you on what you want

What does MBRP mean? I have really always wondered that, that and WOT? Never figured out what they meant, lol. I have 4" TB exhaust on my truck. For the most part, you're just buyin' the name. About any brand is pretty good.

WOT is wide open throttle..
Any brand will work.. they are basically all the same |

Thanks for the info guys. So does any buddy know what the advatage is if I buy an actual 4" down pipe or would that be a waste of money?

most all those kits only come with a 3.5" DP... no real advantage buying a actual 4" DP... go with the one that is cheapest because straight piped they all sound the same

james,
what size down pipe are you runing? my magnaflow kit came with a true 4in and i hate it way to tight and i get a slight drone from it rubbing under a load. keep in mind that the magnaflow is 409steel but for some reason they use black steel for hardware so you will get rust if you use the supplied band clamps and bolts. |
