6.0 lope with resistor

Anyone know exactly what wire to cut into to make a 6.0 lope......I know on the 7.3 u can do it with a 10k resistor on the dark blue and grey wire. I cut into my Red with grey stripe wire with a potentometer and wen id turn it the truck would rev up, like a high idle. Any information would be great.

Pretty sure it has to be done in a custom tune, and I wouldn't recommend it.

What is the difference between the 7.3 and the 6.0 ICP. I have a resistor in my 02 7.3 and it hasnt hurt it yet.

Why do you want it to lope ? just to sound kool isnt it ? Honestly in the end I think loping could cause injector problems but thats me.

Yes. Its part of a project for college. I have to fabricate a modification kit complete with instructions, materials, and then market it...to anything....i just chose this cause i knwo you can do it to a 7.3 and i want it done on my 6.0 because i have to present it.

Do the FICM resistor mod that raises injector drive voltage.
