Planning on doing a few mods to my truck? 2005 6.0 f250. I am looking to do a sct xcal 3 tuner, egr delete and gauges. which should i do first? I have a mbrp 4 inch turbo back exhaust with cat delete, also a k & n cold are intake that i am thinking of replacing as soon as i can locate an oem one. TIA

do EGR delete first, then gauges, then tunes... also think about getting studs also

what he said egr possibly a "bulletproof" oil cooler as well and then the gauges the studs and tunes studs and egr and oilcooler are all preventative mods but well worth the money in the headaches they save as well as the down time they save

When i do the egr delete, if i dont do the sct at the same time in order to cut off the egr valve, wont it cause a CEL light

I did SCT with turbo back cat delete and AFE at same time. No head studs or EGR delete just yet. I am real careful and don't pleasure my ears as much as I would like to. If you go with fun before preventative just know you are taking a chance. Oh, you will love the SCT, just wish I had the Livewire to adjust on the go. I run SCT perf tune all day.....

Some trucks it does, the older ones it doesnt I believe the new trucks do. Gauges are nice to have but arent 100 percent needed right away. I'd do the SCT, EGR delete, gauges. Get yourself a mild tune and you should be good till you get gauges.
