Starting to look

My turbo blew on my truck today. Starting to look to possibly upgrade to a bigger turbo. Any suggestions on what I should look at? Thanks for any help.

I would look the new Garrett Powermax there are some good deals floating around right now. It is comparable to the VGT SS and is alot cheaper right now. (I got mine for 1200 but I think they went up a little), also trusted performance is coming out with a new turbo made for the 6.0 this month. That is suppose to be amazing or something along those lines.

All I'm seeing on trusted performance website is a new housing and towing twins.

Its not out yet. There is suppose to be a released sale sometime soon. They just started poring the new housings this week i think. I was going to wait on one but I couldn't pass up the deal on the turbo i got. There has been a lot of talk on some other forums about it.

I found a used 03 turbo for $350. I'm going to pick it up Saturday so at least my truck is up and running. Then I'll start saving for a new, bigger turbo.

Yeah, the crappy part is that the turbo that is on my truck now I bought new 15 months ago for $450

I just threw a new 03 on about a week and a half ago. You will really like it. I don't know if my last turbo wasn't working properly but the new one seems to give me a lot more power and the sound is unreal....but you know that llready!
