lets talk transmissions

Alright well i really cant decide what is the best trans to go with im looking at BTS, SunCoast, and NADP but i dont know what is the best bang for the buck i know im not going with ats just cant swing that kind of coin. But im just curious who is running what and how its held up and what you do with the truck. I tend to drive a little hard and i plan for more power in the future. What about warranties? Any input would be great thanks in advance. And please no brand bashing. I really couldnt find all the info i wanted.

When my TC blew up back in Nov. I did the same thing you are now...turns out the best words given to me came about BTS, I have spoken with Brian on the phone and he was extremely helpful and knowledgable...I was about to go w/BTS until a local shop I'm friends w/introduced me to ther local trans shop, after talking w/that shop, looking at trans in person and realizing he builds them the same way BTS, ATS, etc does, I had him do it for me for more than $1000.00 less than others and I have all the goods and then some:,if you don't have a local shop withe these abilities, than I would go BTS

ATS? I've heard nothing but horror stories with their customer service... but why are you saying they're too rich for your blood?

NADP is the one I hear the most good about. Suncoast seems popular with the Ford guys, but then you'll hear someone saying they're garbage!? Who knows. I've heard a lot of good things about BTS as well.

I went with a local shop out of Clarksville Tenn. My trans is basically a copy of Sun Coasts sled pulling trans only with out the billet shafts. I run tunes and regularly haul a 48' enclosed trailer and have not had any hick-ups. The next week after the trans was finished I pulled the trailer from Clarksville to Lawton OK weighing in at a total of 38000 (I know I was over weight but no one stopped me and the truck did fine).

The trans was about $3000 which is far less then a real suncoast.

Another Trans Shot

NADP seems to be the best option for the 6.0 as of now, its is working very well in the highest HP 6.0's in the country.

I'd say Suncoast/BTS for moderate power, Mild to Heavy either custom built or NADP if your gonna get heavy into your truck.
