School me on nitrous!

I got a dry nitrous kit im thinking about using on my 05. I got studs, AFE intake, Exhaust, EGR delete SCT w/Innovative tunes. Is nitrous safe on our 6.0s? Anything important things I should know before I hook this up? I currently have an 082 jet. Is this safe size nitrous jet/ How much power would be expected. Im new to diesels and dont know how they react to nitrous

Its safer to use than a gas car, since you really cant run a diesel too lean (to the point of hurting it). They say just keep bumping the size up until you lose power, then go back one size. Eric from Innovative told me to use that setup with no jet and use my race tune for stock head bolts, as it has less timing than the stud tune. Never got around to trying it though. Start with your jet and see how it goes. Nitrous is great for cleaning up smoke and using all of that fuel that normally gets expelled out the exhaust.
