I have a noise that almost sounds like power steering noise. It is only when I go over small bumps at low speeds (like pulling in the driveway). It only happens when in a slight turn.
Question - is there any reason why going over a bump would make the power steering squeal? I am not 100% sure that the noise is power steering. It could be a bushing I guess but it really sounds like PS. It WILL NOT do it during regular driving or turning the wheel when not moving.
I just had head studs done so there is some fluid all over the place. I am assuming the PS had to come out during the stud/gasket install but it is working perfect besides the small noise. Also, not low on fluid.
Thoughts?
Sorry if you saw this in an earlier post, I mentioned but the thread went elsewhere
