Used SCT X3 ask/sell price?????

Hey guys!, could someone help me out here, I don't mean to sound like a d***, but whats with the asking prices of X3's for $325 or so and are you actually getting that price. I ask this b/c I plan on getting one,oh sometime around now! and would love to help another member out and pay them(another member) for one, but as I think I understand it, at $325,and then pay for tunes for my truck/strategy, I would wind up paying about $60 or so more for a used one instead of buying brand new and tuned from Eric at IDP for $429 shipped.....am I missing something, just doesn't make any sense to me

Bought mine from a local craigslist seller for $200. It was an SF3, so it had canned tunes loaded and also had three custom tunes that I deleted. Since I now have Ford's newest flash and my strat code is now VXCF9, planning to get three custom tunes from Matt @ GearHead.

OK,thanks, that sounds more like it.....been constantly checking the classifieds and have not been lucky yet, and I've been shying away from pm'n a seller of one b/c I didn't want to offend anyone....i'll keep looking as I can buy right now...just kinds looking for a deal....also something I wasn't sure of, so the SF3 allows for canned and custom tunes...I thought it was just canned and X3 was custom only...thanks for that!
