Black Onyx or OEM Headgasket??

getting ready to do my studs and egr and Im wondering which head gaskets to go with, the black onyx or oem ford? Im leaning toward the black onyx hg's Anyone have any imput??

The stock gaskets are fine. Shawn Ellerton (the 6.0 with 1004hp) was running stock gaskets with ARP studs I do believe

But if you are paying for the gaskets out of pocket, definitely go for the black onyx gaskets, since they seal better and run a little cheaper!

But as you may have read before, its not the head gaskets problem for blowing, they are fine, it is just the sucky head bolts that hold them together!

if you can find the OEM gaskets for 200 bucks get them..otherwise go with the black gaskets..they work great

give adam a call. he'll take care of you with the balck onyx ones. best I can tell the black onyx ones will seal better than stock if you have any imperfections on your heads or block
