05' 6.0 f250. Looking to buy a programmer. Down the grape vine i heard bullydog isnt a good mix for the 6.0's. Any takers on that or is just a bad experience with it??

Bullydog has been known to kill trannys.
You can get a better tuner for less money, check out the SCT.
the vast majority of people with 6.0's on this site run a SCT

HAve the bullydog in mine, Shifting is only funny when you change tunes. The tranny needs some time to relearn your driving habits. Other than that I have been very happy with mine.

If you are interested, I have a triple dog power pup with outlook monitor that I took off my 2004. I was happy with it using it in only DD and some limited pulling. Agree that the only tranny hiccups I had was when changing tunes on the fly, otherwise it worked fine. I just upgraded to the SCT for the custom tunes. $300 takes both programmer and monitor and I will ship to you.

Bully dog actually has some nice files for the engine, but the tranny tuning sucks as said before.
I run a triple dog on my 06 and only in the lowest setting and it works fine.
But if you want a really sweet tuner get an SCT like I have on the 04.

If Im correct, and sometimes rarely I am, Bullydog does NO TUNING for the transmission. I had a triple dog. Tons of power but the transmission didn't know what the H was going on. Go SCT. Safe and gobbs of refined power.
