Why SCT??

I have been doing some searching for the right turner. Everyone on this forum seems to say SCT but no one says why??? I am not ready for a turner but I will be shortly, and I was wondering why everyone loves the SCT turner so much. Thank you this forum is AWSOME!

i think its cause you can get custom tunes writing for it the download them to your truck also they tune your tranny

the SCT Tuner allows you to get tunes that are custome written specifically for your truck depending on your mods.
It also tunes the engine the correct way, by loading a completely new file in the ECU. Other tuners or piggy backs just change perameters in the stock ECU files, which is not the correct way to tune anything.
Also, the SCT allows you to tune the transmission to work specifically with the added horsepower of the engine tune. When you tune an automatic transmission to handle the added power, you reduce slipping, guessing gears and you get a smooth perfect shift every time. Your transmission temps will stay low and you will keep a transmission in your truck longer without needing an overhaul.
All of these things are what makes SCT the best tuner for our trucks,

good info, but there is one more great thing about the SCT that no one can compete with..that's UPGRADEABLE!! If you have a SCT on a basically stock truck, then a year or whenever decide you wants to install studs, delete the EGR, install a larger turbo and bigger injectors etc,etc, the SCT will still work for you, you will need to get new custom tunes built for your new modifications, but call gale banks,edge,bullydog or PPE and ask them for custom tunes for your exact mods and see what you can get.. (I know the answer)
