Bucking while towing
Has anyone else had problems with their truck bucking alot while you're towing? Just got a new F350, put on the 500 miles, then hooked up my horse trailer for a 6 hour trip. Bucked almost the whole way.
They are suggesting airbags to offset tongue weight. Would like to hear if others have tried that and think it will work.

Never had that problem, but I did install airbags just to help my ride out when I tow my trailer.

When I pulled my gooseneck cattle trailer (32 ft, 5880 lbs dry) it would buck. Fifth wheel travel trailer doesn't do it as much. I think it's cause it's a gooseneck

Maybe that's why mine doesn't do it. I have a 12k fifth wheel toy hauler with a 1,800lb pin weight.

I've never figured out pin weight. Or even weighed it for that matter. But we've pulled it for 8k miles total the last two summers and only really get bucking on really really bumpy roads. But that GN was terrible at bucking. All the time.
