VGT VS. NON VGT..SMOKE CONTROL

Ok, I was wondering if a vgt would clear diseal smoke up during lower rpms better than the non vgt? Reason I am saying this is that since I changed to the non vgt it seems like I blow a tad more smoke down low compared to my stage 2 vgt I had. My stage 2 vgt cleared up my inj right away, with the non vgt its a tad more smoke and harder to clear up...... anybody who has switched, tell me what ou think

with a vgt you will have more boost down low. a non vgt will be smokey until it spools. for everyday driving as a general rule, vgts are more streetable.

I think I need to switch back to a vgt, its just finding a reliable one. I am liking what I am reading and hearing about the Elite VGT SS-X..........

The VGT-SS is probably all your gonna need if your currently running 190's. VGT-SSX I believe is suppose to be bigger then the SS but smaller then the HO.

I was thinking abot the ss or the ss-x....... what will the ss support.

You can ask Tadd, but if you tow alot, get the SS, if it is just for DD and occasional towing get the SSX. The SSX is designed for 190's, any bigger and you are looking at the HO or other options. I thought I explained the dif. between the SS and SSX already, but it is the SS Extreme - bigger exducer on the turbine than the SS. I have one of the first few SSX's, and it works great with my Elite 185's, which seem to flow a little more than some 190's.

Ya Im currently running VGT-SS thinking of going bigger injectors and getting the SSX maybe.

I did talk to elite and they told me the ssx would be a great fit with my inj... thats where I what i will go with unless I get a smoking deal on a ss
