Just wanted make sure, but when my PHP FICM arrives, I don't need to do anything else other than put it back in the truck, right?

Get PHP or Innovative tuning for the FICM.

Thanks all - from what I read, it was plug and play and of course the question came up Friday night after PHP closed.

FICM should be here today and I'm planning on installing it tonight.

And of course there will be a test ride.

Updates on any fuel economy gains might be a while and not very scientific though. I'm running a Vegistroke and tracking my mpg is pretty tough.

I'll keep ya'll posted......

How long did it take for them to do it? You sent in your own right?

I'm considering it, but of course the truck would have to be down during that amount of time.

In spite of being gone for SEMA and catching up on those orders AND illness in the family, Bill and Corey had a 24 hour turnaround.

Of course, you have to factor in shipping time though. I'm in Tampa, they're outside of Atlanta. I shipped my FICM out on Monday afternoon, they received it Tuesday afternoon, had it tuned on Wednesday (I received my electronic invoice Wednesday afternoon), and PHP had it back in the mail Thursday.

Fortunately, my old FICM hasn't completely died yet (its definitely on its way out -- I'm seeing 40-41v at idle on a cold motor) so I bought a used FICM from a member on this site.

Send a message via AIM to Abrannan19
Just make sure that "IF" your truck goes in for service ask them not to flash the truck or reinstall the old FICM. Just a heads up.

Thanks Adam. That would make me pretty unhappy.

At this point, I'll just be happy to get the truck running right again. Its been having problems for a few months but didn't get real bad until recently. Stock would be great. Tuned will be the gravy.
