Nitrous and diesel?

I'm by far not a newb to nitrous. I'm a Nitrous Express fan and have run it in two other cars, but not a diesel truck. My question is, what is the difference in the kits when using diesel?
Do the feed lines need to be of different material?
How about the jetting and sizes?
Can I use a Shark nozzle fogger kit?

im pretty sure its pretty close to the same, but in the kit i used to have there was only one injectio nozzle and it got tapped into the intake elbow (before the turbo) as far as jets you would probably need to use bigger ones than the ones that you used for a car.

There's one nozzle, but were there both fuel and nitrous lines that fed your single nozzle?
What brand kit did you use?
I'm fairly certain that the nozzle would be inserted in the 90* elbow just before (top of) the intake manifold.

Here's a pic of a Shark nozzle that is fed by fuel and nitrous

I have a full jet kit, so I can tune it to any shot I want. But having a baseline size would definately help.

On a diesel, you really shouldn't use a wet shot (some do but you REALLY shouldn't).

With a diesel, you don't need to be as concerned with air fuel mixtures. We can run anywhere from 12 to 1 all the way up past 50 to 1.

When trying to figure out how much spray, your best bet is to go to the track and start with X size. Then keep making passes until you slow down. When all is said and done, you will/should be fairly clean almost no smoke.

On a truck with stock injectors, I don't think you will get any benefits to anything larger than a .073 (or really close to that).

Wow, no need for proper air/fuel mixture? Diesel tuning is crazy. lol

So I need to just find a nitrous only nozzle and run that off the bottle with a switch? No need for the addition of fuel at all?

The additional fueling comes from larger injectors and your tune.

One thing to keep in mind, EGT's will go up if you are rich and down if you are lean. Completely backwards from a gas engine. Watch your egt's.

I have been working on a nitrous set up for a while now and have had some great advice from a few guys, who will probably chime in. Only thing holding me back from having it all finished is money ha. But from what I have been told you can run up to about a .080-.082 jet before there isn't enough fuel. I would suggest some form of a fuel system though, of course with some custom tuning, gauges, and studs and egr delete as well.

Unless your name is David Lott, no. If it is, then yes
