Now correct me if I am wrong, but the regulated return system would still be beneficial, even if you have an airdog. The stock fuel system does not circulate fuel through the heads. Once fuel or air passes the regulator valve and it goes into the heads, the only way out is through the injectors. The regulated return system uses the plugged ports at the rear of the heads to pass fuel through the heads and back to the tank. This provides a fresh, cool flow of fuel to your injectors. I am not sure but in my thinking a RR return would perhaps be more important than an airdog system. Am I correct? |

On a regulated fuel pump, the fuel goes completely through the cylinder heads, but it will not return to the tank if the fuel pump is doing the regulating. It basically dead ends at the regulator. The only thing you have added is extra length. If the regulator is doing the regulating, then you are bypassing the regulator on the fuel pump and loosing the benefits of the FASS or AirDog system. |

Both are great products I'm sure, but there is no need to regulate twice. If your'e starting with a bare platform, it just makes more sense to get the airdog 2 then just do the lines at the head.
