Need help..SCT w/ Edge Insight +Eric's Tunes

Yes,

I am having the same problems. My issue is that under the setup of the display on the Insight, it does not show Ford Specific PIDs for me to select. I have started a thread as well but no replys yet. Check it out to see the steps i have gone through so far with IDP and Edge.

Could this be an issue with the newest firmware version on the Insight???? It seems funny that two of us would have same issues. I just talked to edge and had them send me an older version of the firmware. going to try that.

The other thing that came to mind that i noticed different was when i plugged in my insight with stock tune, at boot, insight would ask vehicle manufacture in list form, then gas type. with custom tune it would only ask for gas type.
Also if custom tune was on and plugged in insight with key in off position Insight would display error can not detect VIN. when i turn key to on position and press enter on insight to retry, it would then prompt for gas type. never get error when stock tune is loaded.

Edge tech mentioned that is for sum reason if VIN info was being corrupted or modified that the Insight may not detect it correctly.

It's a problem nobody wants to own . I've spoke with SCT,IDP and Edge people. They're are working it (so they say)..

I've tried reflashed sct; even using a different pc; had Eric sent me new tunes, reflased the Insight..Still no go....

Its an ongoing problem....I have it too.. just like his...when tuned it wont display ford specific parameters. When stock tuned, it will let me have them and function fine. I just got off the phone with edge, very helpful, pleasant to talk with and said he would push it on through to the engineers, and call me back. calling sct now.

I know..I told edge that there were plenty of guys that have working sct custom tunes, and insight gauge pods..... Sct just told me they also needed to speak to the engineers, and would call me back....I bought the insight because of the ease of use, and because it does so many things, but now its a matter of picking what you want...no power but working gauges, or burn the tires off, and not know if something gets outta wack....

Well downloaded an older firmware to edge insight...insight would not boot. Talked to edge, they released a update today for a temp PID on ford trans. they recommended updating and trying again...I humored the guy and did it....still same problems. Talked to Casey (great tech) he said they now have 3 other cases with same problems as mine. all 2004 PSDs with SCT custom tunes. He past it on to the engineers finally and said they will try to get to it soon but don't have an estimated time b/c they are working on a new platform and that is their priority right now. They are going to have to try and replicate with 04 PSD w/ SCT custom tunes before troubleshooting.

They also said a lot of the techs are out at SEMA... so it may be a few weeks.....Bullsh*! This should be a priority!!!! paying customers...not future customers and products.
