It is one, if not the best a/m vgt there is for a 6.0. Tadd put alot of effort into them, and they include stuff that others don't. I run a bigger version-SSX, and it works very good, but not so hot for towing, the SS tows better. Due to the use of a 10 vane turbine wheel to reduce backpressure they have a loud whistle. If I put the throttle to the floor, in the blink of an eye it hits 30psi. I have run other modded vgt's, and they were a bummer to say the least.

If you by an upgraded VGT, make sure it is one from Elite,Beans or someone who has modded the turbine side to match the compressor upgrades. A vgt with only compressor side mods (65/88 anyway) will not last very long, don't ask me how I know

It has more lag, not really noticable till there is a load hooked to it, then it is a boost vs. rpm battle. If you call Tadd he can better explain why he recommends the SS for towing.
