I need more power!

I have an 06 F250 6.0 I have bullydog intake, exhaust, and tripple dog. I just had my head studs upgraded and was wondering what more i could do to add power somewhat safely now. I just bought the sct x3 but not really sure how to use it. i only have the stock tunes and im not happy with them. I dont know how to set up the shifting properly and it was almost bouncing the gears. It was faster off the line but the shifts took way longer than the bully dog and were almost violent at times plus the bully dog felt like once it got going was pulling longer and harder.I want to stack if its possible but could I get the custom tunes( Ive heard of someone with tunes like street smoke and the same compny making a more powerful tune for sct) and then stack a chip. ive been told to stack a chip like the edge but im not sure how to do that. what are my best options now for the most power. I wanna go fast!

Yeah man you need to get ahold of someone to write you a custom tune based on your truck's strategy. If you search around you will be able to find plenty of people who write custom tunes for the SCT. Cale at BTS, Eric at Innovative, as well as elite diesel, and river city diesel.

Their custom tunes will also be written to tune your tranny.

Don't waste your time trying to stack programmers. Go and call a vendor such as Eric at Innovative diesel and get a custom tune. I run both Eric's and Cale's tunes and they have all the power you will need.

Do a search for free spartan tunes archive. Match your strategy and try out a few tunes. This will get you an idea of tunes and what to ask for. Rivercity diesel, brians truck shop and innovate diesel are all places I'd look for tunes. Oh and stacking chips on a powerstroke is like trying to stack legos on lincon logs. It dosent work. You will loose power. The only engine that stacking is nessisary is the cummins. They are still in the dark ages tuning wise. The sct for the powerstroke is able to tune every single pony hidden in the stable. After that ficm tuning will find the ones the sct missed. With a sct and ficm tuning you could possibly get close to 170-200hp additional at the tires

Be careful using the free spartan tunes there are some corrupt tunes and they will cause your SCT to go haywire. Dont ask me how I know

On the up side, they do make nice power and I liked the way they shifted. I put 407hp down on a spartan tune .

Like lubbockguy said, "stacking" on a powerstroke is a complete waste of time and money.

If the custom tuned SCT doesnt make you happy, it would be time to start looking into a injectors and a turbo plus supporting mods like the EGR delete, fuel system, etc.
