sct question

well i just recieved my sct today :] my question do i need to update the firmware? the firmware thats on the sct is 1.2.118?

also im trying to save the stock file.. how do i do that? when i plug in the updater it says 0 stock files on device

That is the latest Firmware for that device. On the X3/Livewire Updater when you hit get stock that is only giving you a copy of the stock and flash file but you will not be able to load that back onto the device. The only way to get a Recovery file is that we will need to make it here and load that onto your device if you need one.

Ok thank you.. I can still get back to stock setting on my sct by hitting return to stock correct?

Yes you're stock file will be still stored on that device and you can return it back to stock anytime you want.

Hi Matt, I've been wondering about the stock file retention and just want to check in to see if I have it right. I have the SF3 P/N 3015. AM I correct in my understanding that the SF3 downloads my Stock TUne to the device prior to uploading the tune I select? And in that way I have the stock tune saved on the SF3 device to restore to stock when I want to at a later date?
