BANKS POWER

I have a few buddies that live and die by Banks. Whats the deal with Banks? I haven't really heard much about them on here? Does their stuff not mesh well with Ford or what? Or do certain Models do better with certain Mods?

because the best thing for a 6.0 is a SCT with custom tunes

Can you explain why? I'm still trying to fully understand the endless possibilites of all these tunes and mods and stuff!

Custom tunes will be more powerful and at the same time be safer for your truck. Custom tunes will also tune your transmission for the extra power. With custom tunes, you can tell the tuner anything you want and they can write a tune for it and if you dont like something about it they can change it for you. With the banks, you get a tune and thats what you get. Cant change it

And also, the generic tunes are written for a basically stock truck. So having a exhaust and intake with that tuner wouldn't be living to the full potential

Speaking of banks, today I had my dad rev my truck while I listened to my banks monster exhaust and I absolutely loved it. I never really had a chance to hear it like that, but it was a perfect sound even with my Cat. Banks makes quality stuff, but if we are talking about tuners in the 6.0 obviously nothing comes close to the SCT. Other banks products I think are amazing. Pricey, but amazing.
