Changing custom SCT settings???
Intake, 4" Turbo back, 38s on stock gearing
Been running IDs Xtreeme steet now for about a year. Ive changed to my Tow tune maybe 4 times in that time period. I have noticed that my 1-2, and sometimes 2-3 up shift has been kinda sparatic and jerky/hard. The tranny shifts like butter (nice and smooth) in stock mode, but the tranny doesnt seem to like my tuner shift points. I have recently had my FICM and #6 FI replaced and have been running stock since then. ....it was shifting jerky/hard before I had the maintenance done and just doesnt shift smooth like it did when i first installed the tune.
So I was wondering what the best thing to do is....try to make some adjustments to the tune myself? and if so, what do I adjust?
...or do I give Eric or Ted a call and see what they have to say?
