Changing custom SCT settings???

2004 F250
Intake, 4" Turbo back, 38s on stock gearing

Been running IDs Xtreeme steet now for about a year. Ive changed to my Tow tune maybe 4 times in that time period. I have noticed that my 1-2, and sometimes 2-3 up shift has been kinda sparatic and jerky/hard. The tranny shifts like butter (nice and smooth) in stock mode, but the tranny doesnt seem to like my tuner shift points. I have recently had my FICM and #6 FI replaced and have been running stock since then. ....it was shifting jerky/hard before I had the maintenance done and just doesnt shift smooth like it did when i first installed the tune.

So I was wondering what the best thing to do is....try to make some adjustments to the tune myself? and if so, what do I adjust?

...or do I give Eric or Ted a call and see what they have to say?

SOLD: 2004 F250 6.0L, 8" on 38s, SCT, intake, exhaust, studded and gutted

im fighting that same issues with my tune....shifts nice onstock tuning, but add erics tunes and latly it shifts weird and rpms climb when i roll into with little speed to go with....i was running 37's of 3.73's and then 40's for a month then swapped out gears to 4.30's....its going in later his week to see if my trany/tc/flexplate are okay or not...guy on phone suspects that with tuning and large tires with out riht gears has finally taken its toll on tranny or one of the componets.....and he said that under stock tune...its not generating enough tq to cause the slip/shift problem....i'll re-post when i get the news from tranny guy later this week

yea its all set up right...just with in last 2 month hasn't been shifting right i don't think....all services are up to date, like rpms used to go up like a few hundred before started to feel the power, now its not uncommon for it to clime to 2400rpm before i feel thepower....thouht that it might hav been a degraded tune....so re-loaded it on the tuner from puter and re flashed and stil same issu. guy on phone said that the ford tranny is a good one and can take quite a bit of abuse and tuning before something gives in the stock truck form, but adding tuning lrg tires and tall gears that you can't expect it to handle the same power as though it was trying to turn the stock 31's, and that if you do than your kinda playing with fire...but he also said he coud be wrong just have too see when he gets it in his shop and diags it
