dashdaq monitoring questions

Hello Everyone!
I am looking at purchasing a Dashdaq with the ford enhanced module. I am not running any tuners, exhaust, nothing.. Bone Stock. I would like to have it for monitoring purposes etc.
My Question is can it monitor EGT's or do you have to have something special for that?
Thanks in advance!

Yes you buy a probe and it will monitor EGTs.

I have been looking into getting one myself. You need a bit of hardware to get the EGT's.
Either a thermocouple with a 0-5VDC amplifier and use the direct 0-5VDC input into the DashDAQ

OR

An extra licence (available from DashDAQ) and some other hardware.

You have two easy choices there.:
1. Phidgets thermocouple and licence - cheaper and easy.
2. Innovate Motorsports LMA-3 (5 inputs including Thermocouple and other stuff) or TC-4 (4 input thermocouple only), and licence.

I want to monitor EGT and fuel pressure so i am getting a LMA-3 and licence. Then a thermocople and 0-5VDC fuel pressure sensor. That still leaves 3 more inputs for whatever. The LMA-3 also has an accelerometer and MAP sensor built in and you can use those apparently. It all looks pretty cool. You can even add an external gauge in the data chain to give you a dash mounted EGT (or whatever) and still put the same data into the DashDAQ.

That is my plan anyways.

There is plenty of good DashDAQ related info on the company forum.
