With my mods will this tranny hold up good for me? what if i spray at the track ? what stall tq converter would be best? for a daily driver/ play toy?

If you get a new one with the warranty, then I say go for it. It should hold up pretty good with your mods and from guys that I have talked to, Jermey (Lubeowner), says that he always just ran the stock stall converter, he said that he had tried other stall converters, but always had the best luck with the stock stall. I bought Jermey's suncoast out of his truck after he had it rebuilt and it has been an Awesome tranny. I figured if it would hold up behind his twin turbo, 800hp truck, it would handle my 430hp truck.LOL

i believe BTS builds the 5R.... no you got me second guessing myself...

Yes, BTS does build 5Rs now. They build a pretty dang good one too from what I hear!
