boost leak

So I was on my way home today and the truck just didn't run right,, had boost down low then it would just seem to go pedal dead, but still made boost in the 20's. So I switched tunes and the same thing. just didn't have the get up. So I got home and stated checking IC tubes and boots. Noticed the boot going to the turbo was loose and pulled back. Not sure if it was leaking. Checked the Boot at the base of the IC, good. Still checking and noticed one of my water meth nozzle and fitting came out of the intake horn. So I know it was leaking boost out of the opening. I put it together and snugged it down, what do you think it was loosing for boost, I think a lot... So I will test in the morning. Truck just seemed to loose power just before mid range....

I completely broke off the tube going to my boost gauge once....made no difference at all I dont think.

cool, thanks for the site.... just what I need. As for the leak, the nozzles that top into the horn came off...... 10 times bigger than just the hose for the gauge

I'm thinking about ordering a set for myself. My boots down by the intercooler are covered in a oily residue.
