egr delete kit, now getting a p0401 code

what can I do to solve this, I have a banks programmer installed but that will only clear the light and it returns. this started happening after installing egr delete kit. i see where couple of guys say get an SCT, is there any other choice.

the tune needs to turn off the EGR, and Banks are preprogrammed tunes from what I know and thus won't disable the EGR.

SCT is the ONLY way to disable that CEL/code that you are getting. I was just in Grand Cayman two weeks ago, I could have brought one with me LOL. If you want some prices I can get them for you, with custom tunes.

what is sct? is it a tune? will the cale tune everyone is talking bout clear this?

SCT is the tuner. Cale writes tunes that you use the SCT to load onto your truck, and yes he can disable the EGR just as Eric from Innovative, or anyone else writing tunes for the SCT.
