II stage 1 VGT
Last week I installed my II stage 1 Vgt.
Here is somewhat of a comparison on a stage 1 with stock injectors. At 70mph with cruise on there is no difference at all temps are all the same, the difference seems to come when its under load I noticed a 50* drop in Egts when pulling hills with cruise on At WOT it seems to have a little more pull off the line, but the biggest gain has been the drop in EGTs at WOT. With the stock turbo I could easily peg my 1600* pyro on a W/o run to 80mph, it used to hit 1600 and then once it shifted to o/d it would drop back down to about 1400*. Last night I never saw above 1450* and once in o/d it dropped back down to 1300-1350* I also found out that a boot blowing off can make you wet yourself.....lol. |

It seems to spool a little faster than my stock turbo did and it seems to react quicker to pedal changes....but really I am most happy with the EGT drop....
It seem to be a really good "plug and play" unit...I am happy that I chose to swap my stock one out. At this point I really dont see anything negative about this turbo (other than the installation).
