Cheapest and quickest way for me to get ARP head studs delivered or pickup in southern california? I need to get them to the dealer here asap so I need to buy some. Cheapest and quickest, if anyone can help? I'm looking to spend about 450$.

Summit Racing isn't the cheapest, but they've gotta be the fastest. Ordered mine last Wednesday around 11am... paid for ground shipping only, no express shipping... they were delivered to the dealer before noon the next day.

I bought mine through these guys. Cost was if I'm not mistaken $380, but that was with a best offer. Price right now is $440 shipped. You can call them and get it shipped sooner, which is what I did...

Guess I don't need them. Ford won't install head studs for me. Tech Said it violates ford regulations. Then asked the service manager if he could help me he said it would void my warranty. He was like, you'll be fine if you don't chip it.... I was like ok woooonderful! So I'm bitter. They replaced oil cooler and egr cooler as well. The tech told me he doesn't lift the cab or take the engine out. Obiously that would be of more expense to ford.... I still have 30k on my warranty. Does anyone purchase another warranty through ford after 100k?

here is the dilema you face.... Studs and EGR delete will stop 90% of any problem you may have over the next 30k miles.... so your truck wont be in the shop nearly as much.... and his "if you dont tune it youre fine" BS line is just that BS because i have seen many truck without tunes have the problems.... so the dilema is pay out of pocket and void warranty or have the truck down numerous times and time is money for most people.... my suggestion, even if you buy through someone else, is to have it done and not worry about it....

that is crazy my dealer was the first one to mention studs to me he said he wanted to fix it right I would call another dealer personaly, and if not just do the studs you will feel relief because there is nothing like feeling that something is bound to go wrong even if its under warranty.

I live in La Mesa San Diego, CA. I took my truck to El Cajon Ford in East County San Diego. I assumed with the large mass of trucks located in east county I shouldn't have a problem asking for a head stud install.
