turbo work on 6.0?
I have a indurtial injection turbo 62/71/14 that I bought for my dodge but a freind has a 6.0 is wanting it but I dont know if it will work. Will it? if not how come? thanks

I dont think so. Being that the exhaust housing is different, and the mounting also is different I think.

By the time you call II and get the new housing, mounting brackets and other hardware, you would be better off selling your turbo and getting a used one off of here from another member.
Our 6L require a lot more than the Cummins do to install them correctly. You generally have turbine inlet adapters, some have down pipe adapters, new oil lines (feed and drain) mounting brackets, some have intake spacers and then you have the VGT brackets. Basically, they are a big pain in the butt if you are trying to mount something for another motor on them. If you decide to try it, use the 13cm housing not the 14. 14 is way to big for us. |

it is new and never used. Im not realy wanting to sell it but I have a freind from town with a 6.0 who wants it and figured id go on and get rid of it if it would work on his. thanks for the info guys.
