Programming a 6.0

I am looking at getting a superchip for my 03 f. 350. What are some pros and cons on doing this. I dont know much about them so your input would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard they make good power but I am sure there is no trans tuning. I would recommend a custom tuned SCT

Get in touch with one of our site vendors. Discuss what you have with them and what you want it to do. They will send you an SCT programmer then you email them the strategy you pull from your truck. Once they get that they write your files and email them to you to load to the tuner then the truck.

It costs about the same as the generic superchips. And the tunes are 100% better

my votes sct...ran a superchips too....but hands down sct has my vote.... unless something better comes out...im staying with sct

after reading on here and looking into sct's im leaning towards them now. Ive already got exhaust but i want some more hp(without tearing up my truck) and i also want it to smoke but i'm not really for sure what i need to do to get to that

I had a superchips 1704,diablosport predator and now SCT as sugested on this site.
I really wish I would have found this site sooner because sct is hands down the best so far.

If you get a race file it will smoke off the line and clear up once moving.

Also get some gauges to monitor your egts and other vitals even stock if you tow!

i would def not buy a SC... the only thing i would ever put on a 6.0L is a custom tuned X3 and some gauges... something like this: SCT X3 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunning/ Gauge Combo Kit

This is the only way to go for the 6.0's. Custom tunes from Eric at Innovative Diesel is the best. Eric will help you and they have great customer service. Also, you need to get a set of gauges. I recommend the Edge Insight for a gauge. Its shows everything but fuel pressure which I wish it had.
