what programmer/exhaust any other mod should i get?

so i have a 03 6.0 with 124,000 miles on it and i was wondering what programmer to get. i heard hypertech and i heard sct x3. not really familiar with the sct at all and i hear everyone with "custom tunes". where would i get the custom tune and everything i need from? what kind/size of exhaust should i get? i hear no more than 4? does it matter if i just get a straight piped all the way back? do i need a different down pipe? to understand what im going for i will tell you that i dont really tow a whole lot but i would like to improve gas mileage. should i go with the sct mileage programmer? i dont wanna over kill it and destroy my motor lol. please all the help would be great? also what cold air kit should i get or should i even get one?

For the tuner get a SCT x3 with custom tunes. You can get the x3 and tunes from a vendor on this website. As for the exhaust get a 4" turbo back exhaust and a straight pipe would be just fine. It doesnt really matter what brand. You can also get the exhaust from a vendor on the website You will not destroy your engine with either of these.

The Mullet Mod
Stock 2005 F-350 4x4
*Afe Intake
*4" TB Exhaust
*Bulletproof Diesel oil bypass
*Bulletproof Diesel water pump
*Tuned FICM
