Sell me a turbo and studs!!!
So my truck needs head gaskets and its under warranty and my mechanic at ford is going to hook me up and do head studs and a turbo for me if i want so i figured what the hell why not. can you tell me which turbo would be best for my 05' 6.0 Will i need to do anything to my tranny? Should i do EGR delete as well? Mods: Intake, Exhaust, SCT, and gauges. Thanks in advance guys.

Don't do a turbo until you have already done supporting fuel mods and injectors. You can't flow more fuel to keep up with an upgraded turbo, but you can de-tune injectors to match a stock turbo. Go with an EGR delete while you are in there and an Airdog and regulated return. If you still have some cash, get some upgraded injectors and some new tunes with the fueling turned down.

a 62mm turbo is about 2300 bucks, injectors to fuel that turbo would be about 1675 bucks (plus core fee) a fuel system to support the injectors would be approx. 755 bucks. a EGR delete kit (from us) is 575 bucks (plus core fee) studs are about 450 bucks,a sct to tune the injectors and turbo 429 bucks, cold air intake is 269 bucks, a edge insight digital gauges setup is about 410 bucks so about 6863.00
