ficm reprogramming

i emailed innovative and asked if i reprogrammed my ficm if it would work with my edge. they emailed back and said yes it would. while i was waiting for the email i went ahead and called them and one of the guys said no it would not work with my edge and that all it would do is cost me serious money down the road. so now i dont know what to do has anyone ever done this or do i need to drop it?

one more thing
how and where can i get ahold of one of those boost foolers and does anyone have a custom smoke switch and would be willing to tell me how do go about doing that?

Well most ppl are running an SCT with custom tuning, so when programming the FICM they can adjust everything else. Really dont know what the parameters are with the edge so personally I think it be hard to match.

yeah I would not run ficm with edge, would get SCT.

All i know is i have heard great things about the ficm reprogramming..... and all I know is I am going to do it very soon.

if you emailed IDP then you talked to Eric, and if you called then you talked to his father Ted. I would just assume that Ted wasnt really sure, but if Eric told you it was ok then i would send it out

i read on another forum that a guy had eric do his ficm and was running the edge....just call him monday to make sure
