***Few questions about the SCT X3.***

1)Can you run an SCT on a truck with just a stock straight pipe, and gauges?

2)Will it kill an auto transmission or any other parts of the truck?

3)Will it void your truck's warranty?

4)Can you tow 10,000 lbs with an SCT? Plow snow?

Note: Don't have a truck yet, but might consider one for better mpg's and a little more power. Won't do any racing, burnouts, boosted launches or anything like that, just normal "grandma" driving. Truck will be an 05-07 6.0.

An SCT with custom tunes would be the best choice IMO. It will be better for your tranny since they make changes in the TCM too, not just the PCM(ECM). You can get a variety of differnt tune files to suit your driving needs. There are race files, economy files and tow files. Just talk to any one of our vendors that deal with the SCT and they can get you set up when you are ready.

Get custom tunes and your tuner can write you a file for your plowing I would think. I haul 12k with my tow tune from cale on an almost daily basis, with no problems

If you push your truck to the limit, running over 1300 egt's, its gonna fail.when my gasgets went, it was my own fault. pushing the truck too hard.
