SCT problem solved w/tech support
Today I had a serious issue with my SCT. I had my truck set to cales 100hp tune. I decided to go back to a sct preloaded tune. After I finished the transfer back to preload tune (which appeared to go fine) I went to crank my truck and nothing. The truck would not do anything. I attemted to plug in again and just return to the stock file. Error came up "Incorrect vehicle" imagine my surprise, this is my only vehicle. Called SCT tech support, got JR on the line. Man, I gotta say these guy's are great. My cell phone kept dropping our call and needless to say I was stresssed out, but JR would call right back. got my truck back running. THUMBS UP to SCT tech support and JR.
By the way this was the second time this happened SCT was great both times. Just wondering though, does anyone else have a custom tune or cales tune that this has happened to. Just kinda odd that it only happened when going from cales tune back to preload tune. |

I don't know if it'll make a difference, but I remember reading a post that said you should always return to stock before changing tunes. It's annoying and it takes a few extra minutes, but I suppose it can't hurt to try.

I never go to stock before switching tunes and I have never had any problems. I dont think my truck has been back to stock since I got my sct lol
