Super Chips Flashpack ? ? ? ? ?

i can get a good deal on a super chips flash pack for my 05 6.0.
it says it works on 99-07.
its used & i was wondering if any one had used one ?
can it be used on more then one truck ?
or just the truck that the original owner owns ?

thanks for your help.

It can be used on more than one truck as long as the first one was returned to stock. Superchips is an ok out of the box tuner. Dont expect much from it.

For the 6.0 I recommend a custom tuned SCT

200 really isn't that good of a deal for a generic tuner. As Dave says, you'd be much much happier with a customed tuned SCT

Save your money and get a custom chip/tuner. I have a 1805 SuperChips tuner that came with my truck. It's ok, but obviously it's very generic. Look at it this way, once you spend the $200 and run it for awhile, you're gonna want something better. Save the $200 and you're halfway there already

It will help a little. But nowhere near the difference you will see with custom tuning.

Heres an example. I have an SCT. My father in law has a Hypertech. Both are 06 6.0's Identical PCM strategies and everything. His hypertech in the highest setting (claims 140rwhp gain) feels like my custom 60 hp tow tune

I used to run a Flashpac on mine when it was basically stock... And i had the updated redline tune (125hp) and it ran pretty good... MPGs went up about 1.... But the sct is in its own league....

Think of it this way. If the flashpaq raises your performance level 50% the custom tunes in an SCT will raise it 150%. There's that much difference.
