Anyone run 225s daily?

i found a rediculous deal on a set of casserly 225s and vgt-ss turbo. can anyone let me in on what driving it daily is like. eric said he could tune it down so its not really smokey. all input is appreciated.

they are big and flow a good bit of fuel, it will be hot and smokey, even tuned down. My partner ran 225's and a stock turbo..it was far from efficient..but it can be done. where did you find the parts, PM me if needed.

i drive with 205's and a 66 daily its possible and the ss wont be as lagy be a lil smokey and run warmer but you can do it

i guess my main concern is if i see a cop can i make sure it dosnt smoke at all? as long as i baby it? also, how hot is too hot? where should i keep the egt's? im on 38s so it runs a tad hot anyway.

I think those parts are comming off my buddies truck. Are they in mich? If it is his truck then yes its smokes alot, even while highway crusing it would haze black smoke.

That sounds like some really big injectors to run daily but im new to this so eric might be able to tune these to work for daily use
