sneky pipe. $
Up-pipe with Blocked off EGR (Sneaky Pipe) $165.00
6.0L EGR Components http://www.elitedieseleng.com/60upegrbo.jpg (pic) I got my eyes on this. I would get the full kit but the sneaky pipe is just fine for the $$$. Is there another sneaky pipe for cheaper???? Will this throw any codes?? Is there something I need to do other than just swap it out. Thank you |

sneaky pipe with block off is ok, and yes there is a chance of it leaving a code , insuffecient egr flow in memory depending on model year

What do you mean block off??? |

It blocks the flow of exhaust through your EGR cooler. I have one on my truck and it works great, with no codes. It isn't just a truck year thing, but also your PCM strategy.

I just installed an River city diesel sneeky pipe. It fits super nice, is 304 ss tig welded and leaves plenty of room for a 4in down pipe. Check it out their prices are comparable

i dont mean to high jack the thread. but do you need to replace the nuts/bolts that bolt in the up pipe? i've got an 04 up pipe without the scoop and elites block off plate i'm planning on installing soon. i've got everything i need except for new nuts and bolts unless you can reuse the factory ones. just want to make sure before i tear into it.

that's what i figured. Steve i say go for it, its basically the same thing that i'm gonna do. I'm not spending the cash on the full deletes until my warranty is gone.
