what does non vgt turbo sound like.

I was just wandering if anybody had a sound video of a truck with a non vgt-turbo. I am trying to decide between the non-vgt or vgt turbo, I have to be honest the only thing of keeping me getting a non-vgt is the whistle. I have a straight pipe with 03 turbo, and I just love it when I pull into a campground and everybody asked what kind of turbo do I have. I need to make a decision as soon as possible and can't decide.

Well the non-vgt(especially the 64mm one from RCD) will whistle more up high on the rpm range. You'll actually get more looks from people on the interstate then you will be from around the sub-division or entering the campground. I wouldn't, however, let the sound alone deter you from getting a non-vgt or keeping the vgt as that really has nothing to do with rather or not it will be a good turbo for you or not. Sound is just a perk(atleast in my mind).
