How many are running sct tunes without studs?

hey guys just picked up a sct sf3 tuner and am looking into the innovative xtreme street for daily driving and a tow tune also, i am wondering if there are many of you out there running custom tunes on a non studded motor? i know i need them soon for a little insurance but rite now it is going to have to work. also how are the pre programed toons that are in this programer? thanks in advance!

No studs here, been running like that for over a year now without issues.. i have heard the preloaded files are ok, all i know is the custom side of things.. go custom..

I bought my truck at 80k miles and from the oasis report it had head gaskets replaced at 75k just shortly before I purchased it. I have been SCT X3 with innovatice xtreme tunes since about 82k and now have a little over 90k with no problems yet, but then again for all I know the previous owner might have had the dealer put head studs in it. I wish I knew just for peace of mind, but oh well hope I don't find out the hard way if it's studded or not.

KNOCKING ON WOOD....I've been running an xcal2 with custom tunes for better than 2 years now, probably 25k miles or so, and the engine is still untouched.

It's hard to say really, since there are quite a few trucks out there that were never tuned and the head gaskets let go, but then again some with tunes and still stock.

I suppose I'm one of the lucky ones, but at the same time, I don't get completely stupid with the truck when I have a tune loaded. I usually only run a tow file anyway.

you can see if there are headstuds or not if you look and you can see if it is a headstud or headbolt on the front top corner of the head. I dont have a fanshroud in but you can probibly still see. for a few minutes of looking it would be good for pirce of mind

I ran Innovatives Xtreme street from 8000 miles to 76,000 when a head gasket blew.. While they were in there I had them put in studs. I say go for it.

I have been running Extreme street since Nov without any problems. No studs either
