Gauge Question?
So I am looking at gauges to get once I get my SCT. Has anyone had any experience with Glow Shift gauges? Or does Ford racing make a trans temp gauge? I found boost and EGT but no trans temp. Thanks for any info on the subject!

You get what you pay for!!!! Personelly I'd stay away from glowshift anything! Isspro, or autometer would be the way to go...

I just hooked up an ISSPRO 3 gauge kit from Dieselmanor.com Love 'em.
Awesome directions and the match the factory gauges. |

Keep in mind that i HAVE had experience with the 3 companies i'm going to mention. Figured i'd mention that up front.
Glowshift - AKA Glowsh1t. You get what you pay for. The ones ive seen are inaccurate, and cheaply made Autometer - Had a single tranny gauge, had 3 different senders, and a new gauge and it still wouldn't work, and yes it was hooked up correctly, i even called them and hooked it up while on the phone with a tech and did exactly as he said, still didnt' work Isspro - I love them, accurate, professional looking. The diesel manor kit is VERY nice. Made the install a breeze. |

I have glowshift. I will admit the construction is not as good as the high dollar ones. I do not think mine are inaccurate enough to matter. Everything seems spot on to me and my ranges are in line with everyone who is running more expensive ones. I think it will come down to lifespan more than accuracy. these might not last as long but i pocketed the extra money up front.
