Towing you're right, you don't want to go over 190s. As far as turbo, I wouldn't go over 66mm either unless the tuner(person) is damn good and I mean beyond what everyone touts off about eric, towing and what you are towing and getting high hp mods to behave themselves for towing takes good programming. Alot of this though depends on what you are towing as well, I tow live cargo and that cargo has to want to get back into the trailer several thousand times during their life, so I am very very picky about tow tunes that I get.

Am I missing something? What about tranny and gears? Running is great
but getting those big tires rolling off of the line without messing up
your tranny you are gonna need some gears! New will put you back in the
power curve you need to be in.

IIRC he's already regeared. And the 5r110 holds 500rwhp with proper tuning

I have gears coming but chad is right, I do need them... and I will start looking at ATS trannys here very shortly anyway.. I am looking at doing 4.56's and then a stage II ATS with the extreme converter

Why ATS over RCD? I have heard less then ideal customer service from ATS from quite a few people, so I'm just curious why you would go that route.

because I have heard nothing but good about ATS and I deal directly with them... they are a great group of guys with a ton of knowledge and IMHO the best products out there

Not what I have heard.

I have heard that the products, while good, are not worth the price that you have to pay.

One guy said that their tuning wasn't as good as the others that he has had. I can't remember exactly who he preferred, but what I do remember is that they were pushing their tuning(which on one hand I can understand) and he was just sorely "disturbed" by the results considering how they pushed.

The customer service is hit or miss after you buy the products. I have heard some people say they have gotten great post-purchase customer service and some say they haven't heard back from them. When I was doing injectors and turbo and all that, I had seriously considered them, but after I heard that considering what they charged, post-purchase service should not be in question ever, but that's just me.

No matter what company there is out there, there will always be someone who has a bad experience, and who will bad mouth them no matter how good they are.... you cant please everyone.... but thats just my take... unless I hear the same story over and over and over again from numerous first hand accounts, I take everything with a grain of sand...

Couldn't agree more, however, these our sources that I do trust(although I can't expect you to) and if "I'm" going to be shelling out that much dough and I find out that something is remotely hinky with their post-purchase service, I really look hard as to rather or not I buy from them.

If I see something that is worth the asking price, even if that price is 50% higher then the average market price, I will pay it if the entire "package"(product and service is worth it, but if I start looking into it and things aren't totally there for whatever reason or there might be a chance that I'm one of the ones that gets bad post-purchase service then I stay away from it. I know there is a chance of getting bad customer service after buying from any company, but when I'm paying a significant premium price above the average price, I demand top notch quality service throughout my experience with the company.

I am a dealer for a ton of different products and I chose ATS because of what I knew about them, and the fact that I know if I call and need something, they will get it handled...

so if you decide you want to go that route, let me know and I can get you some pricing....
