I'm probably a little late to chime in to the original poster but seeing as I live in Bakersfield (about 20 minutes from Wasco) I figured I'd throw my $.02 out there.

I've got an '06 F250 running Eric's Extreme Race tune and my truck has not run any hotter than normal lately. I've got the Edge Insight and keep an eye on it and all has been normal. 190-200 coolant and 160 for the tranny once it's good and hot.

Well i loaded the stock tune on the truck and on the way to work it was 205 ect and 210 eot. tranny stayed at about 160~168. Man was my truck slower.....cruising at about 65 mph and ac full blast! Then when i was idling my temps dropped a little more. With my xtreme street they would stay.
