egr question

hello i have a stock 06 6 liter 4 door fx4 and i was just wondering if i could get ride of my egr valve by geting a fack one that still sends data to the comp or can you even do that. if there is an easyer why of doing this could some one let me no. i just want the better milage. thanks

if you get any custom tune from sct any tuner will electroniclly close the egr valve and that will be the same. if you really want to do it the right way get a complete egr delete kit with the modded manifold. more expensive but you wont have to worry about cooler failure and you will get a new solid turbo up pipe to block flow to the cooler too. firstcoast diesel performance has a nice kit.
